AVOYELLES PARISH LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES |

Members of the Avoyelles Parish Library Board of Control are appointed by the Avoyelles Parish Police Jury on the basis of an interest in the library and in their community. Members of the Board serve without pay or compensation. The Board is responsible for policies of the library, oversight of its fiscal management, and public responsiveness. The library director serves on the board as its secretary without a vote, and a member of the police jury is appointed by the jury as an ex officio member of the board.
